His love of all forms and types of music extends his talents to produce, write and perform in such a variety of musical genres, he in fact considers his work as fitting into “no genre”. From Hip Hop and R&B to Pop and Rock, Dubbs delves into all genres to create conscious music with a feel good, positive vibe. Dubbs has been in the music game for some time now, producing his own music, as well as for others. His drive to continuously develop his God-given musical talents is endless, and very focused. He’s participated in several competitions, and has won over half of them, boasting a few hits that have been played by Internet radio stations. Dubbs has performed at a variety of venues throughout Riverside and Los Angeles counties and has been on a local cable network.
Influenced by many artists, Dubbs admires Jay-Z the most. Jay-Z’s tenacity in his work over the years amazes him because “it’s getting better with age.” Dubbs grew up watching Jay-Z, and owes the fact that he is comfortable today as an artist to him. The main thing he learned from him was that if you couldn’t make music the way you want to, there would be no desire to create music at all.
To aspiring artists, Dubbs advises, "I would tell a new artist who is trying to get in the game, to network as much as possible, build your own brand, create your own fan base and most importantly, follow your heart. Your drive, courage and hard work is the only thing that can make your dreams come true."

Dubbs began rapping at the age of ten, and writing songs at the age of 12, filling countless notebooks over the years with songs and lyrics from his personal life experiences to those around him. Born in Riverside, California, he was raised in a family full of musical influences where his father was lead singer in a band and three of his uncles were a part of a band as well. As a child, he went along to band rehearsals and knew then that he wanted to write, sing, rap and produce. His uncle was a bass player and a DJ, and introduced him to his first beat machine where he spent that first summer in his room honing his production skills.
“Cowards die a thousand times and real cats have 9 lives!” That’s the saying that Dubbs lives by. Meaning that a coward would have given up and regretted the fact that they’ve given up for the rest of their lives. A real cat will always reinvent and find new ways to be creative and survive. Dubbs prides himself on reinventing himself with every song, and every music performance.
